Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to your photo and details when you use the at Derma skin check at atderma.in. "We" means at Derma, [registered clinic name and address].
Your photo
- Your photo is resized in your browser, then sent securely to our AI provider, Anthropic (the Claude API), to produce your skin report.
- We do not save your photo on our servers or in our database. It is used for that one analysis only.
- Anthropic processes the photo under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to use our customers' data to train its models. Anthropic may process data outside India.
- The AI is asked to check that a face is present. It is told not to identify who you are.
Details you send in the form
If you choose to contact us, we store: your name, phone number or email, age range, skin type, the concerns you tick, your description, how long you've had the issue, and a short text summary of your skin report (if you ran a check). We use this only to reply to you and to give skin advice.
Why we use it
We process your details on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the boxes on the page. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. This does not affect anything done before you withdrew.
Who can see it
Only at Derma's skin experts and staff who handle requests, through a password-protected inbox. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Our web host (Hostinger) stores the database on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for up to 12 months after we last contact you, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Under 18
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before you send a request. We may ask to speak with them before giving advice.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the details we hold about you, and you can raise a complaint. Write to our grievance officer:
- Name: [Grievance officer name]
- Email: [privacy@atderma.in]
- Address: [Clinic address, Jaipur]
We aim to respond within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Not medical advice
The skin check gives cosmetic guidance only. It does not diagnose medical conditions. For anything painful, spreading, bleeding or changing, please see a dermatologist.
